Meet the maker: An Exclusive Weekend with Jesse Blauwhoff Andromeda Gongs
Join us for the 26 and 27 of September for a unique opportunity to meet Jesse Blauwhof, founder and maker of Andromeda Gongs, at Forest Resonance.
As the UK's exclusive home of the Andromeda Gong collection, our studio welcomes visitors throughout the year to experience these exceptional handcrafted instruments. However this special weekend offers something you won't usually find. The opportunity to explore the collection with Jesse himself.
Spend time hearing the instruments played by their maker, discover the craftsmanship and intention behind each piece, and enjoy the chance to ask questions in an informal and inspiring setting. Whether you're searching for your first gong, looking to deepen your existing practice or simply interested in the art of handcrafted sound, this is a rare opportunity to experience the collection from a new perspective.
What to expect
Throughout the weekend you'll have the opportunity to:

-
Hear the distinctive voice of each instrument and explore how different materials, sizes and designs influence their sound.

Bring your own gong
If you already own a gong, we warmly invite you to bring it along. A gong stand will be available for instruments up to 38".

It is equally suited to musicians, experienced gong players and anyone with a genuine interest in handcrafted sound instruments. Whether you're exploring sound for the first time or looking to invest in an instrument that will support your practice for years to come, you'll be warmly welcomed.
